The Beginning
Mediterranean
Growing up on the Mediterranean coast, space was something felt before it was ever studied. The quality of afternoon light, the texture of materials that age with warmth, rooms that seemed to breathe. That particular sensibility, soft, tactile, unhurried, is where the silk in Silkraum begins. It is also where the name becomes personal: ipek means silk in Turkish. The two were never separate.

I'm Ipek Inanir Sinik — architectural designer and founder of Silkraum, offering spatial design and BIM consulting.
